Main Project

Buk-Dangjin ~ Godeok HVDC Link Project

KAPES entered into contracts for the stable power supply in metropolitan area of Korea, with the 1st phase in May 2014 and the 2nd phase in April 2019. The construction of the HVDC converter stations between Bukdangjin and Godeok was completed in May 2024.

Donghae-Shingapyeong
HVDC Link Project

KAPES is working on Donghae-Shingapyeong
HVDC Link Project to increase supply reliability in
metropolitan area of Korea since Jan 2018.

Contract of Shin Bupyeong
VSC HVDC Project

KAPES has been awarded with a contract for Shin Bupyeong VSC HVDC project for power flow control and compensation of reactive power to relieve overload and over voltage in Incheon area.
